The Oscars are six days away, and you know what that means: only one more week to see every major nominee, in order to appropriately cheer, jeer, and second-guess on Sunday night.   I will either wear my hard tail hoodie & yoga pant or I’d rather lie around in a ball gown on my couch with my girlfriends- what will you be wearing??

So.... two of my co-workers did not blog yesterday.  They told me the pressure was on and that I had to come up with  something really exciting! Really? So Linda Lanigan, Tiffany Craig and I are all contributing editors. What three things do we all have in common. Well, if you have  vistited our back room you would all agree it is food! The Code.... for those of you who don't know what I am referring to, the Code is my youngest son. He just turned 22  on Dec 31st! Yikes, am I really that old! The Code is your typical college student. Misses his first flight home, sleeps until 1:00, eats, sleeps and on occasion will take a shower. Now we are three weeks into Winter break and he informs me that he wants me to change his plane ticket!  Is he crazy? The original ticket was $350.00. round trip. If I was a "Good  Mother" the change would ONLY end up costing  me $945.00. The truth be known. I would love nothing more than to have my son home for a few more days. Well, after just looking into his bedroom, I think I should get him on the next plane out of here! LOL. I now understand why we all need some retail therapy!

There isn't a week that goes by when some calls or stops in to ask about a REALLY good consignment shop. Well I  have done by homework. It might not be local but it is truly worth 30 minutes every Wednesday evening. Everyone has to check out  Fashion Hunters on Bravo. OMG let me tell you about one of my favorite episodes.  So this lady brings in a Issey Miyake 2 piece outfit and it turns out the outfit was stolen. Seriously CSI and Fashion all in one episode. After this episode I convinced my co-worker Tiffany that it is time to walk on the darker side and watch  Reality  TV.

Ok so you all know  how much I love reality TV. My co-workers might even tell you that I am obsessed. Let the truth be known! I  love watching the series because it is so fun, and so rewarding to see all of our stuff being exchanged in the hands of these crazy women. It seems like I see something that's at Faye's during every episode! So, to put it quite simply...you don't have to live in Orange County, New York or New Jersey to have the latest and greatest. It's right here in your own back door. Come in and check it out for yourself!

Our JPK Paris 75 handbags have caught the eye of every one. If you stopped in our Mequon store this last weekend you know EXACTLY what we're talking about...the colorful beauties that were hanging front and center!

Michele Albert is liking all the new maxi dresses we got in last week. Some customers have said they look too flowy on the hanger, but try them on with shoes and  jewelry and it makes all the difference.  Also don’t forget our new $89.00 jean jacket (loving that)...it’s perfect to pair with them.  

TLC  has a crush on the new Aviva Rose Jewelry. After all...diamonds are a girls best friend. 

Last but not least...I L-O-V-E the new Miilla tops and dresses they are so pretty!!!. The KLD Signature Tops are also a fav on my list...the water color top is number one.

We LOVE the Fifteen Twenty floral tops. Our customers are asking for prints, and now they have them. Floral for spring has been spotted in lots of magazine editorials and now everyone wants in on the Floral Action! 

Can you say DENIM JACKETS? We have tons! Short...long...different washes.

The new Theory collection (that's in Brookfield til April 3rd for the Theory event) has beautiful colors and fit!
The tops and dresses in their pink rose colored silk are so AMAZING. Lots of suiting pieces (pants, jackets, blouses) to choose from, too.

New TOMS are soo cool for spring and summer. Everyone is loving the espardrille wedge. Comfort and cuteness!

New Missoni (that's in Mequon til April 3rd for the Missoni event) is so refreshing and gorgeous. They even came up with their version of a maxi skirt....it's beautiful...we die.

Joe's Jeans in the light washes are a huge hit...we won't be giving these jeans the boot!
